Disney World is our favorite vacation destination. Recently we had the opportunity to go for a week-long stay at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside. We did four days at the theme parks, Disney Springs and Blizzard Beach. I hope you enjoy as I take you through a photographic journey through our trip.

Arrival at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside was a breeze. We reserved a Royal Guest Room which had a few additions in the room to make your stay a little more magical. Seen here you can find Carpet from Aladdin, Genies magic lamp as the faucet and the footrest from Beauty and the Beast. Also, you can find a letter from Princess Tiana addressed to you and fireworks in the headrest.

It rained a lot during the trip. We usually don't come to WDW during the rainy season, so there was a bit of fun and frustration with the weather.

Don't forget your ponchos and umbrellas

We took a bus over to Disney Springs for our dining reservations at Raglan Road although we had to stop for this Toy Story 4 backdrop outside the AMC.

We have never been to Raglan Road, and as a self-proclaimed Irishmen, I had to give it a go. The food sadly did not live up to expectation, but the entertainment far exceeded it. We were seated right up front by the stage, so we had a great view of the performers. Briste was the band playing that night. They were an exceptional all-female Irish folk band, and it was fun listening to their music. The Raglan Dancers were wildly entertaining, and they even had a segment where they took Scarlett and other children onto the stage and did some river dancing with them. The Bangin Bangers and Mash was a decent dish with sausage and mashed potatoes with onion gravy. I found the mashed potatoes were a little stiff, and the sausage was a bit soft. Overall I liked it but probably would not order it again. The Raglan Risotto was delicious. I enjoyed it more than the Bangers and Mash. The kids got the Atlantic Cod Fish and Chips and the Mac and Dubliner Cheese.

After Raglan Road we went over to the Toy Story Drop PopUp which was a hype event for a new mobile game Disney released. It Was a fun pop up with a great photo opportunity, and you could even play the latest Disney mobile game on a tablet.

After Toy Story Drop we headed over to Sprinkles for dessert. The kids had the sprinkles cupcakes, and we tried the Rose Cupcake. It was a tasty cupcake with sweet berry-like frosting.

After Sprinkles, we took the bus back to the resort to get some rest for an early day two at magic kingdom for extra magic hours so stay tuned for our next blog post about our first day in the parks!
